TWENTY YEARS OF FLORIDA LEGISLATIVE HISTORY RESEARCH SERVICE
=s and nation=s most prominent law firms and lawyers. We have developed the most comprehensive in-house collection of legislative history documentation outside of state government, which enables us to provide our clients with quicker turnarounds and more complete documentation at a more economical price than other private service providers. Much of our in-house documentation is available in published format. We are able to research and retrieve pertinent documents and - at the client =s option - provide in-depth reports on legislation passed since 1969 (Prior to this date the Florida Legislature did not maintain permanent committee records). All research and retrieval requests are treated with strict confidentiality.Documentation available includes official committee bill and meeting files, committee and floor debate audio recordings, official Journals, legislative and executive task force and study commissions, and various special interest and secondary resources. Transcription service for audio tapes is also available. In addition to legislative history research we also are experts in researching the Florida Constitution and the Florida Administrative Code. We can file and retrieve documents in all courts in the Tallahassee area (Leon County (where the majority of constitutional challenges to state law are filed), the First District Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Florida, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida - (including Bankruptcy) and state regulatory agencies with offices in Tallahassee. Where permitted by the agency, we also provide on-site document imaging services for very large volume requests. Note on PDF Files: Most of the documents on this web-site are also available as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. To open and print these files, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. If you do not have the Reader, it can be freely downloaded from www.adobe.com. With each file, the file size is indicated. For the large files, depending on the user's internet connection speed, it is suggested that they be downloaded to an appropriate folder on the user's hard drive and then be opened locally. |
